Scott takes responsibility for the finance, marketing and user functions, working to ensure that all the numbers stack, listen to the needs of our users, and grow our userbase. Scott also shares business development and sales responsibility with our business customers.
Scott has a background in private equity investing and corporate finance. Prior to founding Perx Scott worked at CHAMP Private Equity, one of Australia’s leading private equity investment firms. He started his career at Macquarie Capital, providing advice to clients on mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and capital management initiatives.
Scott has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Economics.
Hugo takes end-to-end responsibility for the Perx product: managing the pipeline of engaging features, incorporating user feedback and data insights plus designing value-add features with business customers. Hugo also shares responsibility for business development and sales with our business customers.
Hugo has a background spanning consumer businesses and technical development. Prior to founding Perx, Hugo provided business strategy advice as an Associate at McKinsey & Company, a leading global management consulting firm. In particular, Hugo helped develop consumer tactics including promotions, partnerships and product development to drive consumer engagement and revenue growth.
Hugo has a combined Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Bachelor of Advanced Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
Matt manages the technology development at Perx working on the design and functionality of the Perx app. Matt has a vision for engagement and a knack for fun, designing features that will delight and surprise our users.
Matt is an award-winning mobile and online game developer and is highly-skilled across a range of programming languages. Prior to Perx, Matt started his tech career running an eCommerce website but soon began focusing on building fun mobile applications, working for several online and mobile game development companies including LOL Games, Keywords Studio, Limpid Logic and Pretty Simple. During his time at Pretty Simple he was part of the team which developed Criminal Case; a game with over 40 million average monthly users.
Matt graduated from the University of West Florida in 2005 with a B.A. in International Studies.
